Last week I completed this opening sequence for the BBC 2 series Groundbreakers in the studio using PDI & Maya for the fracture effects! The next episode will be aired next Sunday at 21.00 on BBC 2 NI.
The past couple of months I've being getting up to speed in Cinema 4D - it is by no means a replacement for Maya but it's capacity to layer effects and deformers is second to none - I was blown away when i first seen this video. Today during my lunch break I had a wee quick go to emulate this technique
